New Now available Custom Cameos

Wow... I figured a way to make my own "Custom Cameos", using my reproduction images and a clear cameo dome in acrylic. The pictures come out super clear.
I can put your pictures on the cameos too! Your pets, children, wedding, parents, grandparents, graduation, holidays, special event, birthday.... if you can think of it I can do it for you!
You will find these in my ebay store for now, I will be adding them to my etsy store soon!
Tell me what you think! Take care, Caroline

Costume skirt in the making

I found this gorgeous lace covered with sequins. It is going to be an over skirt for a flowing dress, open in the front. I want lots of layers in fancy fabrics and lots of sparkle! I am working on a tiny bolero jacket (short jacket). Shes going to be a Gypsy! I have had so many ideas for her hair or a fancy head piece, can't wait to get to that! Oh, and LOTS of jewelry, beads and sequins... ooh-la-la!! Enjoy the rest of your day! Hugss, Caroline

Items For Sale!

Costume Started

So far so good! Here little top is made. The fabric is silk dupioni teal with a purple shimmer, across the top is gold hologram sequins and you can't really see it but the center front is AB Swarovski crystals and a large lavender teal color Swarovksi crystal.
I have the dress started and other parts... we'll see what happens! Take care, Caroline

Arms are attached...

I usually wait until I start dressing the doll before I attach her arms, but she wanted them attached first... can't argue with her, LOL.
Its a little slow going with the costume, I have an idea of what I want and have gorgeous fabrics and trimsto work with. With lots of sparkle going on!

My NEW Waterfront Property!

Wow, this is unbelievable! I now have waterfront property... LOL
I have never seen so much rain come down so fast. Its not even a tropical storm or hurricane. Our area has had about 2 FEET of rain in just the last 3 days!
This used to be my street and front yard, now its a lake. Even the overhead of our entry way to the house got water inside and we were worried it would collapse!
Today the rain has given us a break and we can see the street again, but not for long we are going to get hit again. I will keep you posted.... Hugss, Caroline

Her ALMOST finished face!

Her face is not complete yet! She still needs her fake eyelashes and (maybe) rhinestone eyeliner! I can't put my finger on it, but she needs something... I will just have to let her rest for a day and start again tomorrow!
Her costume will be in teal and purple colors... ooh la la! Can't wait to start on that! Take care, Caroline

New Doll Pattern update

Well, I am workin' my way up.
This is a first for me, because I always start with the dolls face. But this one has a mind of its own. I can't wait to get to the face now.
As you can see she is still a little bit curvy, but not like what I usually do. I tried something different with the leg going up almost to the waist. I kind of like that. This way I can make a sexy outfit with the high cut leg... LOL
When I tell my Mother the doll talks to me, she thinks, well okay Caroline what ever you say.... All the dollmakers I know say there dolls talk to them too... am I right!
The straight leg has a wire in it up through the hip area, so she can stand. The other leg is slightly bent. But I still have no idea whats happening. It keeps it interesting!
I will keep you posted! Hugss, Caroline

I started my new cloth doll pattern!

Well, I finally started my next cloth doll pattern. This one is going to be a little different. First of all I am making it a little smaller, maybe 16 to 18 inches, a little slimmer, but still shapely. I usually start with the head, but this time I had more ideas for the body. I was getting all kind of ideas last night while I was tring to sleep.... how annoying! I had to get up and make some drawings and write down my thoughts, then I was able to sleep. I have been working on her all day today. I had to remake the body over and the legs so far.
I will keep you posted!

Happy Mothers Day!
