New Doll & Display are finished

She is finally finished along with her mini enchanted garden display! I still haven't given her a name, (she would like the name Corina)... we'll see! Now I will start on the written instructions for her, since she will be available in a pattern soon! Thanks for stopping by! Caroline

She is going to be a Sparkling Gyspy!

Her costume is coming along! You can't tell by the picture but I just made a tiny bolero jacket with lots of sequins. I love the purple and teal colors together.
She is getting there!
I hope everyone is well!
I just had to replace my computers screen monitor.... what a pain!
Take care,
Caroline

Costume skirt in the making

I found this gorgeous lace covered with sequins. It is going to be an over skirt for a flowing dress, open in the front. I want lots of layers in fancy fabrics and lots of sparkle! I am working on a tiny bolero jacket (short jacket). Shes going to be a Gypsy! I have had so many ideas for her hair or a fancy head piece, can't wait to get to that! Oh, and LOTS of jewelry, beads and sequins... ooh-la-la!! Enjoy the rest of your day! Hugss, Caroline

New Doll Pattern update

Well, I am workin' my way up.
This is a first for me, because I always start with the dolls face. But this one has a mind of its own. I can't wait to get to the face now.
As you can see she is still a little bit curvy, but not like what I usually do. I tried something different with the leg going up almost to the waist. I kind of like that. This way I can make a sexy outfit with the high cut leg... LOL
When I tell my Mother the doll talks to me, she thinks, well okay Caroline what ever you say.... All the dollmakers I know say there dolls talk to them too... am I right!
The straight leg has a wire in it up through the hip area, so she can stand. The other leg is slightly bent. But I still have no idea whats happening. It keeps it interesting!
I will keep you posted! Hugss, Caroline
